1Who we are and what this covers

Scottsdale Cash Homes ("we," "us," or "our") is a real estate investment company that buys residential property directly from owners in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area. We are not a real estate brokerage and do not act as your agent.

This policy applies to information collected through scottsdalecashhomes.com (the "Site"), through the cash-offer form on the Site, and through the phone calls, text messages, and emails we exchange with you after you contact us. It does not apply to third-party websites that link to or from the Site.

By using the Site or submitting the form, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit your information.

2Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a cash offer or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• The address of the property you are asking about
• Details about the property, such as its condition, occupancy, mortgage or lien status, and your reason or timeline for selling
• Anything else you include in a message, call, or text

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting and form providers automatically record technical information about your visit, which may include your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described in section 5.

Information from other sources

To evaluate a property and prepare an offer, we may look up public records, including county assessor and recorder data, tax records, and prior sales, and we may use third-party property data and mapping services. If a transaction moves forward, the title or escrow company may share closing-related information with us.

3How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Review your property and prepare a written cash offer
• Contact you about your request, your offer, and any transaction that follows
• Schedule and conduct property visits and coordinate with title, escrow, and closing partners
• Respond to your questions and provide customer support
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site, including understanding which pages and sources bring visitors
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights, property, and safety

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Every offer is reviewed by a person.

4Calls, texts, and email

When you submit the cash-offer form and provide a phone number, you are asking us to contact you about your property. By doing so, you agree that Scottsdale Cash Homes may call and send text (SMS/MMS) messages to that number, including through automated dialing or texting systems and prerecorded or artificial voice messages, for the purpose of discussing your request, your offer, and related follow-up. You may receive these messages even if your number is on a national or state Do Not Call list, because you have asked us to contact you.

We do not share your phone number or your consent to receive text messages with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are used only to communicate with you about your request.

We may also email you about your request and offer. Any marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails about an active request or transaction are not affected by unsubscribing from marketing.

Calls may be recorded for quality and record-keeping. Where the law requires, you will be told at the start of a recorded call.

5Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) that are placed by us or by the service providers that host the Site and the offer form. They help the Site work correctly, remember your form progress, measure traffic, and understand how visitors find and use the Site.

• Necessary cookies keep the Site and the embedded form functioning and secure.
• Analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they came from, in aggregate.
• Advertising cookies, if used, help us measure the results of online advertising and may be used to show you ads for our services on other sites.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the offer form from working. The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no common standard for them; see section 8 for opt-out preference signals.

6How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to other companies for their own marketing. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers. Companies that host the Site, run our customer-relationship and form software, deliver email, calls, and texts, provide analytics, and store our records. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Transaction partners. If you accept an offer, we share what is needed to close with the title company, escrow agent, attorneys, lenders, inspectors, and other parties involved in the sale.
• Business partners and assignees. We sometimes work with other investors or buyers, and a purchase contract may be assigned to another entity. In that case we share the property and contact information needed to complete the transaction you agreed to.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
• Business transfers. If we sell or transfer all or part of our business, your information may be transferred to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy.

We may also share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer identifies you.

7How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to evaluate your request, complete any transaction, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Records connected to a completed purchase are typically retained for at least seven years. Information tied to a request that does not lead to a transaction is kept for a reasonable period so we can follow up if you contact us again, after which it is deleted or de-identified. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see section 8.

8Your choices and rights

Communication choices

• Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
• Tell us during a call, or contact us using section 13, to stop receiving calls.
• Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us, to stop marketing emails.

Access, correction, and deletion

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information we are legally required to retain or that we need to complete a transaction you have agreed to.

State privacy rights

Arizona does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law. If you are a resident of a state that does (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, or others), you may have additional rights, including the right to know the categories of information we collect and share, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information as those laws define it. We honor opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using section 13. You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.

Nevada residents

We do not sell covered information as defined under Nevada law. Nevada residents may still submit a request using section 13.

9Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to the Site and the offer form, access controls on our records, and reputable service providers with their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

10Children

The Site is intended for adults who own, or are authorized to sell, real property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

11Third-party sites and services

The offer form on the Site is provided by a third-party form and customer-relationship platform and loads inside this page. Information you enter is transmitted to and stored by that provider on our behalf. The Site may also link to outside websites, such as county records or mapping tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and their policies, not this one, govern any information you provide to them.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of the page and, if the changes are significant, take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention, such as posting a notice on the Site or contacting you directly. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
